Multi-Robot Navigation using Open-RMF and TurtleBot3
Coordinated fleet management and navigation using Open-RMF, ROS 2, and TurtleBot3 robots—task scheduling, traffic management, and collision-free delivery in complex indoor layouts.
I'm Samuel Ajala, a Robotics Engineer and Researcher transitioning from machine learning into building systems that adapt to dynamic conditions and resource-constrained environments.
I have a background in Electronics and Computer Engineering, and I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer. For a long time, I wanted to work in robotics, and I eventually found the area that matched that interest: Embodied AI and Robot Learning.
When I focus on resource-constrained environments, it is for two reasons. First, I like working on problems that most people overlook. Second, where I am from gives me a different perspective on engineering. Most technology is not built for our infrastructure or our reality, and that is where my drive comes from. I want to design systems that are efficient, practical, and useful in high-constraint environments.
I started in software engineering out of curiosity. Later, I thought I could build a SaaS tool to fund my hardware passion, which is how I ended up exploring software more deeply. I still have not built that SaaS, but the path taught me a lot.
On the community side, I have served as the Pioneer RAIN-INN lead for my school, AI Lead for the SPE LASU student chapter, and co-founded Space Clubs LASU. I took those roles because there was a gap and I wanted to help fill it.
I created an interactive sphere of people who inspire me to do better. Drag to explore · Click a node for details
